Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 1st Commercial Lending, LLC, doing business as SBA Loan Connect (“SBA Loan Connect,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses and shares information when you use sbaloanconnect.com and related services. SBA Loan Connect is not a lender and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

In short: We share your information only with lenders you choose and, if you opt in, partner lenders that may fund your request. Those lenders may pay us. We never sell your information to data brokers or marketers.

What information do we collect?

Information you give us. When you ask to be matched with lenders, contact us or apply to become a partner lender, we collect what you enter, such as:

• Your name, email address, phone number and business name
• Details about your financing request: purpose, amount, industry, state, time in business, annual sales range, credit score range and available cash
• Your choices about text messages and sharing your request with partner lenders, with the date, time, page and wording you agreed to
• Messages you send us

We do not ask for your Social Security number, full date of birth or bank account numbers on our public forms.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers collect device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring website and the advertising or campaign links that brought you here (for example, UTM parameters and click IDs). We use cookies and similar technologies for this; see “Cookies and analytics” below.

Public data. Our lender rankings use public loan data published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. That data describes lenders’ activity; it does not contain information about you.

How do we use information?

We use information to:

• Match you with lenders and show you your results
• Contact you about your request by email and, if you agreed, by phone and text
• Share your request with lenders as described below
• Operate, secure and improve our website and services
• Measure our marketing and understand how visitors find us
• Comply with law and enforce our terms

When do we share information?

• With lenders you choose. When you ask to connect with a lender, we share your request and contact details with that lender.
• With partner lenders, if you opt in. If you check the box to share your request with our partner network, we may share it with up to 3 additional partner lenders that fund requests like yours. We never share it with a lender you’ve declined.
• Lenders may pay us. Lenders may pay us a referral fee when a loan closes, or a fee to advertise on our site. Partner lenders are labeled on our site.
• With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, customer relationship management, email and text messaging, and analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
• For legal reasons, such as complying with law or legal process, or protecting the rights and safety of our users or others.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of our business, subject to this policy.

We never sell your information to data brokers or marketers. Because lenders may pay us when we share a request with them, some state privacy laws may treat that sharing as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. See “Your privacy rights” for how to opt out.

How do text messages work?

If you check the box to receive texts, we and the lenders you choose or agree to share with may text you about your financing request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of using our service or getting a loan.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your progress on our forms, and understand how the site is used (for example, Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals; our site does not currently respond to them, but we honor legally required opt-out signals where applicable.

How long do we keep information?

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including to maintain records of your requests, consents and referrals, and as required by law. We then delete or de-identify it.

How do we protect information?

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information; to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information or targeted advertising; and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Children’s privacy

Our services are for business owners and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, for material changes, give additional notice as required.
