About SBA Loan Connect
In short
SBA Loan Connect is an independent SBA loan marketplace that uses public U.S. Small Business Administration lending data to match small-business owners with the two or three SBA lenders that most often fund businesses like theirs. SBA Loan Connect is not a lender and is not affiliated with the SBA.
What does SBA Loan Connect do?
Thousands of lenders can make SBA loans, but each one tends to focus on certain industries, loan sizes and regions. Most business owners don't know which lenders actually fund deals like theirs, so they apply to their own bank or whoever advertises most, and lose weeks when it isn't a fit.
We fix that with data. The SBA publishes a record of every 7(a) and 504 loan it guarantees, including the lender, the industry, the state and the amount. We analyze the last 5 fiscal years of those records to rank lenders by how often they fund businesses like yours, then show you your top matches with the reasons behind each one.
Why did we build it?
Finding the right lender shouldn't depend on who you know. Our promise is simple: see which lenders actually fund businesses like yours, with the numbers to back it up, before you decide which lenders see your information.
How does SBA Loan Connect make money?
Our service is free for business owners. Lenders pay us in two ways:
- Referral fees when a loan we referred closes.
- Advertising fees for showing a lender on our site.
Every lender with a paid relationship is labeled Partner . Our methodology explains exactly how partner status is treated in rankings.
Is SBA Loan Connect part of the SBA or a lender?
No to both. We're an independent company. We don't make loans, approve loans or set loan terms, and we're not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
SBA Loan Connect is not a lender and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Small Business Administration. We do not make credit decisions; we connect business owners with SBA lenders. We may receive compensation from lenders we refer you to.
Where does your data come from?
From the SBA's public 7(a) and 504 loan data, released under the Freedom of Information Act and updated quarterly. We use it to measure lender activity only; it contains no information about you. See how we rank lenders.
